BEST BURGER JOINTS FOUND

Go Local For Best Burger

Are you looking for the best burger joints? The simple sandwich of ground beef on a bun allows for considerable creativity from whomever is making it, and there are thousands of variations, from one end of the country to the other, city to city. Few foods more delicious, desirable, easy to eat and affordable than the American Hamburger. Find it here GETYP.com

The burger, possibly traces its roots all the way back to the Mongol Empire in the 13th century, then passed onto the Russians, who in turn brought it to the major Hanseatic port of Hamburg in the early 19th century. The most common destination for ships departing from Hamburg was New York, and by the late 1800s restaurants in New York began serving what they called Hamburg steaks, seasoned and cooked patties of ground beef, to German immigrants and Americans as well. According to the late Josh Osofsky’s book The Hamburger: A History, the oldest mention of a Hamburg steak on a menu was at New York’s Delmonico’s, the recipe having been developed by one of America’s greatest chefs, Charles Ranhofer.

The exact originator of the modern-day hamburger unfortunately remains a mystery, but there are several possibilities. Perhaps the most well-known is Louis Lassen, who introduced a hamburger steak sandwich at his restaurant Louis’ Lunch, in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1900. Maybe it was “Hamburger Charlie” Nagreen invented the dish at Wisconsin’s Outagamie County Fair in 1885, and still others claim that the Menches brothers did it at an 1885 fair in Hamburg, New York. Regardless of whoever first applied ground meat to bread, today the burger is one of the most beloved, comforting affordable and easily eaten foods in existence. You can even argue that we’re currently in the midst of a burger Golden Age, with more and more upscale restaurants adding burgers to their menus as old time burger joints keep going strong, and entire festivals and competitions are devoted to burgers.

GETYP.com knows that, “The perfect burger, is one that satisfies what one is hungry for at that moment,” as found in our great local directories, like yellowpagesnewyorkcity.com.

FINDING THE RIGHT PLUMBER

Finding the Right Plumber
Simple steps to follow

When you are in desperate need of a plumber just type GETYP.com. Then contact and hire the right person for the job, it that easy!

Follow these steps when searching for a plumber:

  1. Start by searching via GETYP.com and their LOCAL directories.

These are simple to use and a quick search will turn up a list of plumbers in your area, with real reviews.

  1. Research at least three plumbers before you decide on who to hire.

This will give you the chance to ask the same questions to each one, and determine who is offering the best deal. Make sure you ask questions by phone or email pertaining to your problem, their experience, the cost/estimate, and any other questions you may be concerned with.

  1. At the minimum get a rough quote on your repair on the phone.

While this may not be possible for larger jobs, if you need some basic plumbing work, such as swapping out a faucet, you should be able to receive an online or phone estimate easily. Check for a service call fee. Possibly avoiding a charge if the plumber is not going to do any work for you.

  1. Base your hiring decision on many factors including: the experience of the plumber, the cost of the job, and how soon they can complete the task. You should consider every detail instead of only one, such as cost. Low cost is good, but only if you are going to receive quality service as well, don’t determine the repair on cost alone.
